Working across the fields of the built environment,
policy and systems thinking, I focus on evidence-based, participatory design solutions to increase climate resiliency and adaptive urban placemaking for marginalised community groups, particularly displaced individuals, women and young people.



Some of my specialisms include: biobased materials, reuse and retrofit, public realm design, circular economy, ecology and regenerative work, community engagement, organisational development, forced displacement and migratory studies.

Work focused on Borderlands and Climate Mobilities in Central America and the US-Mexico Border as been ongoing since 2020. This includes a series of writings, published papers, a documentary, a built project, and an ongoing charity organisation. This work has been supported by the Martin Research Centre, RIBA, the Wren Association, Cambridge University, Kettle’s Yard fund, UTEP, the Centre for InterAmerican Border Studies, the Evoca Foundation, the Honnold Foundation, Choose Love, the UK Permaculture Association and more. Early research was awarded the Morgan Sindall prize and a RIBA Silver Medal nomination. Groundwork was awarded shortlisted for the Lush Young Award and won the 2025 Spring Prize Indigenous and Ancestral Wisdom Award.
