“The Town Hall of Anamnesis” is the exploration of a new institutional infrastructure for Tower Hamlets which embodies new visions of citizen participation, ownership of the city and urban participation. Built from a cast iron foundry located in its basement, the town hall connects itself to the pulse of the city and its past histories, erased by profit-driven architecture in canary wharf.

Open, fractured, nested, the masterplan comprises 5 pavilions which play and contrast with local scales and enhance the urban streetscape experience.
